When it comes
to the arena of contemporary writing for the Big Band, along the likes
of Bob Mintzer and Maria Schneider, be sure to add to that list composer
-arranger Gary Morgan. His writing is fresh, personal, sonically meticulous,
and more than anything, written by a great musician for great musicians.
