Ernie Edwards

Ernie Edwards was born in New York City, Blind from birth he showed the ability to play music from a very early age. Ernie began to teach is self-the Piano at age seven; he also received lessons from his mother.
Mr. Edwards attended a school for the Blind, were he began playing in groups.
He appeared on the nationally televised show; “Some one New” hosted by Leon Bibbs.
Ernie Edwards has a large following.
In 1987 Ernie released his first CD ” I can see things you can’t” to great acclaim it was played on WBGO one of the most popular Jazz Radio Stations in America, he also received great acclaim for his Performances.
In 1991 he released his second CD “An evening with Ernie Edwards” again to great acclaim this was also played on WBGO and Ernie received acclaim for his Performances.
Currently Ernie is the house Pianist at the Priory Restaurant in Newark NJ his hometown.
Mr. Edwards has Performed all over the Tri-State area his Performances have been Legendary.
