There will also be masterclasses given throughout the day by the NJCU jazz faculty on subjects including Jazz Improvisation; Rhythm Section Performance; Horn Section Playing; and Teaching/Studying Jazz Voice. Our teaching faculty includes Andy Eulau (bass); Allen Farnham (piano); Joe Magnarelli (trumpet); Bob Malach (saxophone); Pete McGuinness (trombone); Paul Meyers (guitar); Tim Horner (drums); Mark Sherman (vibraphone); Roseanna Vitro (voice); and Joel Weiskopf (piano).
Music vendors will be on hand for students to try the latest professional model instruments and accessories and purchase music if they choose. All of these activities are FREE and open to the general public and take place in Rossey Hall on the campusof NJCU. Please try to attend and encourage your students and their parents to so as well.
Directions to the school can be found on our website: www.njcu.edu/mdt. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
