Vitali Imereli, born in Kutaisi, Georgia, began playing violin as a talented five-year-old at a music school, later completing his education in 1979 at the National Music Academy in Tbilisi. During the period 1979-85, Vitali acted as teacher at the Tbilisi College of Music. From 1978 to 1991, he participated in a variety of jazz festivals in several locations from Georgia through Russia and Europe in general.
In 1992, Vitali moved to Finland. Performances then ranged from Germany and Sweden to various parts of Finland, with TV appearances and radio programs following. Vitali has played at the internationally renowned Pori Jazz Festival every year since 1991, as well as at other important festivals in Finland. In May and June of this year Vitali was on tour with Rosenberg Trio performing in Turku and Helsinki, then continuing on to the Kajaani, Alandia and Pori Jazz Festivals. Later in July he enjoyed successful performances with Didier Lockwood and Rosenberg Trio in a Tribute to Stephane Grappelli at the North Sea Jazz Festival.
Vitali has also played with Jack Hana, Art Blakey, Michael Urbaniak, Rosenberg Trio, Ulf Johansson, Bob Gulloti, Gipsy Kids, Daniel Walsh, Carlos Del Puerto, Didier Lockwood etc.
?Vitali Imereli masters the Grappelli (Stephane Grappelli) sound to the extent even the Maestro himself couldn?t tell who was playing. This Georgian-born violinist masters the modern styles as well.?

Stephane Wrembel.
One could call Stephane Wrembel a Gypsy, a World Traveler, for the music he plays and his lifestyle are expressive of the Gypsy way of life. Born in Paris, and raised in Fontainbleu (home of Impressionism and the music of Django Reinhardt), Stephane began classical training at the age of four. His life took a decisive turn in his late teens when he first discovered Django?s music and the Gypsies. He spent the next ten years of his life learning, playing and expanding this tradition. This intense work gave him his technique, but the time he spent playing around campfires and trailers gave him his soul. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with studies in Contemporary Jazz, Indian, African and Middle Eastern music, his life took another turn when he moved to New York City. Like New York, Stephane is aways in motion- always searching and never stopping in his quest to create a new sound.
