Kristine Massari (voice and mandolin)
Having been raised in a musical family, Kristine has been performing music since a child. She made her vocal performance debut at the age of four at a recital of the Arcaro Sisters School of Dance, her aunts? studio, in New York City. She has also plays violin, piano and mandolin.
Kristine has also performed as a Jazz Vocalist in several clubs in the Metropolitan Area, including Trumpets Jazz Club in New Jersey, and most recently, Flushing Library. Kristine has toured Italy, performing with the Enrico Granafei Quartet at music festivals including those at Roseto degli Abruzzi, Castelalto, Palermo, Cosenza, Catanzaro, San Giorgio Albanese, Laurino, Veneto, Sicilia. She was a featured performer at the Rutherford International Jazz Festival in NJ, a jazz festival at the Altamura Center for Arts and Cultures in Round Top, N.Y., and the Laurino Jazz Festival in Italy. She also appeared as a special guest with the Enrico Granafei Quartet at the Euromeet Jazz Festival in Veneto, Italy; in Budapest, Hungary; in Finland, where she performed with renowned jazz violinist Vitali Imereli, and in Estonia with bassist, Toivo Unt. She sings in English, Italian and Spanish.
